Former Admiral Kikareas of the Hellenic Navy Comments on the Possibility of a Major World War III

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 21, 2008 -- In the last few years, the world has faced a tremendous crisis with the wars of terror, the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel-Hezbollah, the Korea nuclear issue, and the Russia-Georgia war. But now, says Admiral P. Kikareas, President of the World Foundation for Peace and Security, the most immediate threat comes from Iran's Nuclear Program. Kikareas announces that he believes "The world is in danger for a major World War III with nuclear and biological weapons; NATO and its allies must take immediate actions."

Kikareas is a peace advocate and world-renowned crisis management expert. He was the Architect of the Security of the Olympic Games in Athens and also was Director of NATO Operational Planning and Readiness, during the Cold War with Soviet Union and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Kikareas says that Iran -- no matter the many sanctions and diplomatic approaches by the UN, EU, European countries, and even US calls and many discussions -- does not stop its enrichment and military building. "Iran is now very close to creating, or even has been given nuclear warheads to use with its long-range ballistic missiles," Kikareas says.

"It is worst than Hitler, as its regime are fanatical religious extremes and they want to wipe out Israel and rule over the Muslim countries for getting prepared to conquer the world, using also radical Islam worldwide. Now we see that 10 Russian war ships are in Syria to deter a strike of Israel against Iran," Kikareas says.

Kikareas adds that the threat has to be eliminated by all means.

Kikareas proposes that NATO now needs to include Israel, Georgia and Ukraine, as well as allies like Japan and Australia, to its existing members.

"In addition, NATO must send right away a strong group of war ships with participation of all members in the Middle East and Mediterranean in order to show strong military presence with many flags," Kikareas says. "Apart from that, strong measures need to be taken in the financial areas to make Russia stay quiet and cooperative."

Kikareas urges NATO countries to start building up military capabilities as soon as possible and raise a decisive strong voice to Iran to stop immediately, as all diplomatic ways have been exhausted.

"There is no place for soft actions. If we take all the above actions, then we may deter a worldwide war where nuclear and biological weapons should be used and the entire world, no matter who wins, will be destroyed," Kikareas says.

Admiral Kikareas calls with all his love and care for humanity: "Please consider that the time for games is over. If Iran continues its way for nuclear capabilities and builds up its alliances, we are in front and very close of what Hitler was doing and the world was watching until World War II started. I would like also to say that the Russian people, who are Christians and have suffered a lot during Communism, should be by the side of Christian Western Countries and not with the extremist Jihads.

"Mr. Putin you are a very clever man and I have seen you visiting the Holly Mountain of Athos and pray in Greece -- please for God's sake don't lead your so nice citizens of Russia to another catastrophe; they have given enough blood, they don't need to give more. They don't belong to the Islam jihads," Kikareas says.
