Kai Vodka Receives Gold and Silver at the 67th Annual WSWA Tasting Competition
Honolulu, HI (PRWEB) April 17, 2010 -- Kai Vodka LLC (www.kaivodka.com) today announced that its ultra-premium vodka brands, Kai Vodka and Kai Lychee Vodka, have received awards from the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America at their Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition. Kai Lychee Vodka and Kai Vodka won Gold and Silver, respectively.
Kai Vodka, which is imported from Vietnam, is the first ultra-premium rice vodka. It is triple distilled using a rare variety of rice called Yellow Blossom which is grown exclusively in the small villages along the Red River Delta. Kai’s first flavor extension was Kai Lychee. The lychee, a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia, has a subtly sweet flavor and fragrant bouquet. Kai Lychee was the first lychee flavored vodka on the market. Kai Vodka and Kai Lychee Vodka are currently available in 26 states.
The 2010 Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition took place at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America’s 67th annual convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sponsored by The Tasting Panel Magazine, the competition drew hundreds of entrants, as the event was open to all exhibitors.
